Dear Venerables,
As the chair of the Australian Sangha Association and on behalf of the Australia Buddhist monastic Sangha, I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate you and wish you all many blessings on this occasion of The Taiwan Buddhist Association’s 80th Anniversary and the 26th Inauguration Ceremony for the President, Directors, and Supervisors on 25 April.
Taiwan’s tireless mission to spread the wisdom and compassion of the Buddha Path has shone a light across the world, for this kindness we owe a debt of gratitude.
Each year as the time of Vesak approaches, we reflect on the Buddha’s boundless compassion and inimitable generosity in bequeathing the dharma to the world to save all sentient beings.
Vesak is a time when Buddhists around the globe come together in respectful celebration of Sakyamuni Buddha’s birth and enlightenment; on April 25 we heartfully join as one with you in praying for the liberation of all beings and aspiration for world peace, dedicating merit to the well-being of all humanity.
May the light of Buddhism in Taiwan never darken.

Respectfully and with gratitude,
Venerable Bom Hyon Sunim,
Chairperson
Australian Sangha Association
